Testing
Candidates visit www.PublicSafetyTesting.com to schedule a written exam and a physical ability test. Be sure to select Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) or Corrections Officer (CO).
Scores Are Reviewed
Thurston County Civil Service reviews all candidate scores and selects the highest to move on.
Background Investigation
Investigators will initiate contact with candidates to begin their background checks.
You're Hired!
After successfully clearing the background investigation, you will be hired and attend academy once employed.
Training
You will first attend an academy to receive basic training. After graduating, you will begin field training.
