Paramedic Recruitment 

Thurston County Medic One is recruiting Firefighter/Paramedics for the City of Olympia, City of Tumwater, and Lacey Fire District 3.  Annual salary range is $85,356 - $124,368.  Please refer to the Thurston County Medic One Application Packet for agency overview, hiring process, and current salaries and benefits offered by these agencies.  

The next testing date is September 26, 2024.  All application materials are due to Medic One no later than September 20, 2024 by 5 pm PST.

Please follow these directions when applying:

1. Complete the Public Safety Testing application and follow the PST application process prior to submitting your application to Medic One.  This ensures Medic One has visibility of your PST score.

   If you are unable to secure a PST test prior to the application deadline or you are a student preparing for graduation, please contact Medic One directly - Daphne Reaves (360) 704-2782

2. Complete the Thurston County Paramedic Application Packet in its entirety.  Incomplete applications will not be accepted.  If your application is incomplete, someone from Medic One will notify you.
3. The top PST scores from the current applicant pool will be invited to participate in the next scenario-based exam process.
