Auditor’s Office Will Conduct Random Audit of the April 23 Special Election

OLYMPIA – The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division will conduct a random audit of the Yelm Community Schools April 23 Special Election. This test demonstrates the accuracy of the tabulation equipment.  

Observers are appointed by the county Democratic and Republican parties to be on hand during the audit. If present, observers will be able to ask questions and learn more about the election process.
