OLYMPIA – Beginning Wednesday, December 8, the Thurston County Building and Development Center (BDC) is modifying operational hours due to unforeseen staffing circumstances. The BDC will operate under restricted hours for two weeks and expects to return to its regular operation hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm on Monday, December 20. 

Should the modified schedule need to be extended, the county will notify residents through the BDC website and Thurston County social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter). 

The BDC will operate under the following temporary weekly schedule: Wednesday, December 8 through Friday, December 17, 2021:

12/8  Wednesday: Closed

12/9  Thursday: Open 8:00am to 4:00pm

12/10  Friday:  Closed

12/13  Monday:  Open 8:00am to 4:00pm

12/14 Tuesday: Open 8:00am to 4:00 pm

12/15  Wednesday: Closed

12/16 Thursday: Open 8:00am to 12:00pm

12/17 Friday: Closed

Residents will continue to have access to services online, by phone, by email, or by using a drop box located outside of Building 1. For more information on submitting permits please visit the Building Development Center website at: www.thurstoncountybdc.com.
