The highly anticipated Thurston County Fair returns Wednesday, July 31, through Sunday, August 4, 2024, promising five days of family-friendly fun and entertainment. Held at the Thurston County Fairgrounds, located at 3054 Carpenter Rd SE, Lacey, this year’s fair will feature a vibrant array of activities and attractions for all ages.

The 2024 Thurston County Fair will showcase a variety of local talents and community spirit. Visitors can enjoy exciting events including youth animal projects, captivating performances, local artists and gardeners displaying their finest works, an eclectic mix of vendors offering unique goods, exhilarating carnival rides, and a mouthwatering selection of traditional fair foods.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, this year’s fair introduces "Betty Bee" as its charming mascot, embodying the spirit of community and celebration that defines the Thurston County Fair.

Fair hours are as follows:

• Wednesday, July 31 & Thursday, August 1: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Friday, August 2 & Saturday, August 3: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Sunday, August 4: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
