​OLYMPIA – All Thurston County offices and departments will briefly close on Thursday, September 16, at 1 p.m. for an evacuation emergency training drill. County employees will be asked to evacuate the buildings during the drill. The drill is expected to last 15-20 minutes.

During the drill, courthouse visitors will be given an explanation of what is happening, and the choice to wait in gathering areas or in their vehicles until the drill is over.

When: Thursday, September 16, at 1 p.m.

Duration: 15-20 minutes

County staff will be located both inside and outside the buildings to assist the public during the drill.
