A ballot will be mailed to all Thurston County voters residing in the participating jurisdictions.

Registration Deadlines:

  • Mon, July 24th: Deadline to register or update current registration by online, mail or other remote means.
  • Tues, August 1st: Deadline to register/change address in person at the Thurston County Elections Office or any open voting center in the state by 8:00 pm.

Voter Registration Forms: Available at all Thurston County Timberland Libraries, city/town halls, schools, fire stations, and licensing agencies.

Accessible Voting Assistance is available at the Thurston County Elections Office (drive-through services available), beginning July 12th, M – F, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and on Election Day, August 1st, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, or call to arrange an appointment.

Random Audit: Thurs, August 3rd at 9:00 am at the Ballot Processing Center. This test is open to the public and ensures the tabulation system is counting ballots accurately.

Risk Limiting Audit: Tues, August 8th at 9:00 am at the Ballot Processing Center. This test is open to the public and demonstrates the accuracy of the election results.

Meetings to canvass ballots and finalize the election are open to the public. Meetings are held at the Thurston County Ballot Processing Center, Wed, August 9th at 1:00 pm and on Tues, August 15th at 12:30 pm. Contact our office for more information.
