Notice of the February 13, 2024 Special Election

January 23, 2024

A ballot will be mailed to all Thurston County voters with a current mailing address.

Registration Deadlines:

  • Mon, Feb 5: Deadline to register or update current registration by online, mail or other remote means.
  • Tues, Feb 13: Deadline to register/change address in person at the *Auditor Elections Office; or any Auditor’s Office or voting center in the state.

Voter Registration Forms: Available at all Thurston County Timberland Libraries, city/town halls, schools, fire stations, and licensing agencies.

Accessible Voting Assistance is available at the Auditor Elections Office, 2400 Evergreen Park Dr SW, Olympia 98502, Jan 24 – Feb 12, M – F, 8am – 4:30pm, Election Day Feb 13, 8am-8pm or call to arrange an appointment.

Random Audit: Thurs, Feb 15 at 9am at the Ballot Processing Center. This test is open to the public and ensures the tabulation system is counting ballots accurately.

Risk Limiting Audit: Tues, Feb 20 at 9am at the Ballot Processing Center. This test is open to the public and demonstrates the accuracy of the election results.

Meetings to canvass ballots and finalize the election are open to the public. Meetings are held at the Ballot Processing Center, Fri, Feb 16 at 9am, Thurs, Feb 22 at 10am and Fri, Feb 23 at 10am. Contact our office for more information.
