The content on the Thurston County website is currently provided in English. We are providing the “Translation” for approximately 10 languages. A ballot will be mailed to all Thurston County voters with a current mailing address.

Registration Deadlines:

  • Mon, Mar 4: Deadline to register or update current registration by online, mail or other remote means.
  • Tues, Mar 12: Deadline to register/change address in person at the Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division, Lacey Timberland Library Voting Center, any Auditor’s Office or voting center in the state

Voter Registration Forms: Available at all Thurston County Timberland Libraries, city/town halls, schools, fire stations, and licensing agencies.

Accessible Voting Assistance is available at the Elections Division, 2400 Evergreen Park Dr SW, Olympia, beginning Feb 21, M - F, 8am – 4:30pm and on Election Day, Mar 12, 8am – 8pm or Lacey Timberland Library, 500 College St SE, Lacey, beginning Mar 4, M – F, 10am – 4pm and on Election Day, Mar 12, 8am – 8pm, or call to arrange an appointment.

Random Audit: Thurs, Mar 14 at 9am at the Ballot Processing Center. This test is open to the public and ensures the tabulation system is counting ballots accurately.

Risk Limiting Audit: Wed, Mar 20 at 9am at the Ballot Processing Center. This test is open to the public and demonstrates the accuracy of the election results.

Meetings to canvass ballots and finalize the election are open to the public. Meetings are held at the Thurston County Ballot Processing Center, Friday, Mar 15 at 9am, Thurs, Mar 21 at 9am and Fri, Mar 22 at 10am. Contact our office for more information.
