Notice of the November 7, 2023 General Election
A ballot will be mailed to all Thurston County voters with a current mailing address.
Registration Deadlines:
- Mon, October 30th: Deadline to register or update current registration by online, mail or other remote means.
- Tues, November 7th: Deadline to register/change address in person at the Auditor - Elections Office; Lacey Timberland Library Voting Center; The Evergreen State College student engagement HUB; Olympia, Tumwater, Yelm, or Tenino Timberland Libraries; or any Auditor’s Office or voting center in the state

- Lacey Timberland Library Voting Center: 500 College, Lacey, WA 98503, Oct. 30th – Nov. 6th, M - F, 10 am – 4 pm, Election Day Nov. 7th, 8 am – 8 pm.
- HUB at The Evergreen State College: 2700 McCann Plaza Dr NW, Olympia, WA 98505, Friday Nov. 3rd, Monday Nov. 6th 10 am – 4 pm, and Election Day Nov. 7th, 8 am – 8 pm.
Voter Assistance @ Your Library – Timberland Libraries: Register to vote and download a ballot. These services are available Friday, Nov. 3rd and Monday, Nov. 6th from
10 am – 4 pm and Election Day from 8 am to 8 pm. Locations are the Olympia Timberland Library – 313 8th Ave SE, Tenino Timberland Library – 172 Central Ave W, Tumwater Timberland Library – 7023 New Market St SW, and Yelm Timberland Library – 210 Prairie Park St NE.
Voter Registration Forms: Available at all Thurston County Timberland Libraries, city/town halls, schools, fire stations, and licensing agencies.
Accessible Voting Assistance is available at the Thurston County Elections Office, 2400 Evergreen Park Dr SW, Olympia, beginning Oct. 18th, M - F, 8 am – 4:30 pm and on Election Day, Nov. 7th, 8 am – 8 pm or Lacey Timberland Library, 500 College St SE, Lacey, beginning Oct. 30th, M – F, 10 am – 4 pm and on Election Day 8 am – 8 pm, or call to arrange an appointment.
Random Audit: Thursday, Nov. 9th at 9 am at the Ballot Processing Center. This test is open to the public and ensures the tabulation system is counting ballots accurately.
Risk Limiting Audit: Tuesday, Nov. 14th at 9 am at the Ballot Processing Center. This test is open to the public and demonstrates the accuracy of the election results.
Meetings to canvass ballots and finalize the election are open to the public. Meetings are held at the Thurston County Ballot Processing Center, Thursday, Nov. 16th at 2 pm, Monday, Nov. 20th at 3:30 pm and Tuesday, Nov. 28th at 12:30 pm. Contact our office for more information.
