The Thurston County Auditor's Office will hold a Passport Fair on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Thurston County Atrium Building. As the only provider of full-time passport services in the county, the Auditor's Office is dedicated to ensuring accessible passport services for community members.

In addition to passport application services, the Auditors office also provides photo services for constituents in need of a new passport photo. Thurston County staff are trained to ensure that photos meet the strict requirements set by the State Department for passport submissions, whether for renewals or new applications.

After May 7, 2025, passengers on domestic flights will be required to have a passport or enhanced driver's license to fly. Obtaining a passport now will ensure smooth travel transitions in the future.
