OLYMPIA –The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing Tuesday, November 21, at 3:30 p.m., or soon thereafter, to receive public testimony on a Code Change to Align the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and Budget Process. Meeting information and materials will be posted on the board’s Public Hearings Page.

In-Person or Virtually: Those wishing to testify should appear in person or virtually and be heard. Testimony will be accepted at the Tuesday, November 21 hearing.
Written Comments: You can submit written or emailed comments if you cannot attend. Please submit your comments no later than 12 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

Background:
The amendment clarifies Thurston County's process for minor amendments to the CIP by establishing the board as the only reviewer of minor amendments to the CIP needed to align with new projects and new intra-year budget requests.
