OLYMPIA – The Thurston Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., or soon thereafter, to receive public testimony on the Code Clarifications & Corrections Amendment. How to Submit Public Comments
In-Person or Virtually: Those wishing to testify should appear in person or virtually and be heard. The Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) will accept comments at the Tuesday, May 23rd hearing.
Written Comments: You can submit written or emailed comments if you cannot attend. Please submit your comments no later than 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Background for Code Clarifications & Corrections Amendment:
The amendment is made up of three (3) separate development code amendments: Development Code Docket A-13, “Miscellaneous Clerical Errors,” A-28, “Clarification on Expansion of Non-Conforming Non-Residential Uses and Structures,” and A-29, “Update Sign Board Posting Procedures”. The proposed amendments include changes to standards for Academic Schools in the Special Use chapter, changes to standards for on-site noticing requirements on Type III applications, and corrections to various clerical errors by correcting information and updating terms and names within various chapters of the Thurston County Code (TCC).
