OLYMPIA – Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division is offering observer training for the August 1, 2023 Primary Election. The training will be held over Zoom on July 13, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.

Ballot processing is monitored on site by trained observers appointed by the Republican and Democratic parties and independent observers. We are committed to ensuring ballot processing is open and transparent. Observers can ask questions of full-time elections staff as long as it doesn’t inhibit ballot processing.
