OLYMPIA – Thurston County has opened an online survey to gather public input on which project areas they would like to see funded with $10 million of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds the county received to address the public health and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The county received $56.4 million in ARPA funds, and some projects are already underway.

Funding from ARPA allows Thurston County to assist residents, businesses, and nonprofits in recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic while making investments in the future. The Board of County Commissioners will take community input into consideration when making allocation decisions about what projects receive ARPA funding.

The Thurston County COVID-19 Recovery Fund survey is open now through Friday, Oct. 28, 2022. The survey can be found at: https://thurston.abalancingact.com/ARPASurvey.
