Upcoming Road Closure for Culvert Replacement on Kellogg Dr NE

OLYMPIA, WA – Thurston County Public Works is notifying residents and commuters of a road closure on Kellogg Dr NE from 72nd Ave NE to 7203 Kellogg Dr NE starting September 25 through October 23, 2024, to replace a failing culvert. Traffic will be rerouted via 76th Ave NE and Kerbaugh Rd NE. We advise motorists to plan accordingly and allow for extra travel time. 

TIMELINE:

  • The road closure is expected to last four consecutive weeks starting September 25 through October 23, 2024. 
  • Work is scheduled Monday – Friday, 7 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.

TRAFFIC & SERVICE IMPACTS

  • A detour route will be in place to maintain local access. Local traffic will be guided around the closure via 76th Ave NE and Kerbaugh Rd NE.

Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes during the closure and allow extra travel time. The county appreciates the public’s patience as we make these necessary repairs.
