OLYMPIA—Thurston County Public Works is alerting the public about expected traffic delays on Morris Rd SE from 148th Ave SE to 133rd Ave SE from Monday, August 5, through Wednesday, August 28, 2024. During this time, crews will prep and pave Morris Rd SE.

Construction is scheduled daily, Monday – Friday.

Work Hours: 

• 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• August 14-15 – 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Traffic Delays: 

• Minimal delays with single-lane closures
• August 13-15 – Expect delays of up to 20 minutes

Reader boards will be placed along Morris Rd SE to inform the public of the upcoming work and anticipated delay. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic during lane closures. Commuters are encouraged to allow extra travel time or consider alternative routes during construction.
