OLYMPIA – On Wednesday, September 25 at 9:00 AM, the Washington State Supreme Court will convene a public hearing to address the critical issue of indigent public defense. The hearing will take place at the Atrium, located at 3000 Pacific Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501.

The Supreme Court Justices will be joined by a significant number of guests, organizations, and individuals who intend to provide testimony. The hearing will be livestreamed by TVW and is anticipated to garner local media coverage.

Due to the expected influx of attendees, parking at the Atrium will be limited. To minimize any inconvenience, county services will remain open and available throughout the day. However, we encourage those who need to visit the Atrium for county services to consider doing so in the afternoon.

Additional parking is available in the county’s annex parking lot across the street, as indicated on the map below.
