OLYMPIA – Due to an increased demand for COVID-19 testing in the community, Thurston County Public Health and Social Services (PHSS) is hosting a free drive through COVID-19 PCR testing clinic at the Thurston County Fairgrounds, Long Lake Park entrance, located at 2790 Carpenter Road SE, Lacey. Testing will occur weekdays beginning Wednesday, January 5 through Friday, January 14 from 10am – 1pm. No testing will occur at this site on the weekends. Testing is for symptomatic individuals, close contacts to a positive COVID-19 case, or for people who have been instructed to get tested by public health.

Thurston County offices will have a delayed opening today (December 30), with operations beginning at 10 a.m. This delayed opening is due to inclement weather. Superior Court offices at the Main Campus, Family Juvenile Court (FJC), and Drug Court will open at 9:30 a.m.
