The Thurston County Canvassing Board certified the August 6, 2024, Primary Election. The Thurston County Canvassing Board also reviewed a schedule for an anticipated recount for the Commissioner of Public Lands race.

The Canvassing Board will accept written public comment submitted up to 24 hours in advance of a regular meeting. Submitted comments will be promptly distributed to all Canvassing Board members and their designee if applicable. Please submit public comments to TCAuditor@co.thurston.wa.us

Two of Thurston County’s wastewater treatment plants recently earned recognition for their exceptional performance. The Grand Mound and Tamoshan Wastewater Treatment Plants received 2023 "Wastewater Treatment Plant Outstanding Performance" awards from the Washington State Department of Ecology.
