Thurston County has opened a second round of Conservation Futures funding for 2023.

Boulder Care, a digital health clinic offering long-term support and treatment for substance use disorders, has partnered with Thurston County’s Resource Hub.

The Thurston County Outdoor Burn Ban is effective as of 8 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, and ending Friday, September 29, 2023.

The Thurston County and City of Yelm Planning Commissions will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter to receive public testimony on the City of Yelm and Thurston County Joint Plan.

Thurston County government offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. All offices will reopen for regular business Wednesday, July 5. 

Thurston County Public Health and Social Services is reporting a toxic algae bloom at Lake Lawrence. Lab results show toxin levels of Microcystins at the sample site at Lake Lawrence are 28 ug/L and Anatoxins <MDL.
