​OLYMPIA – The National Weather Service is predicting freezing temperatures with a high probability of snow for the region, beginning Thursday, February 11. Temperatures will be at or below freezing from Thursday, February 11, through Sunday, February 14, with Thurston County expecting to see anywhere from four to eight inches of snow.

OLYMPIA – The National Weather Service has issued a forecast for below freezing weather patterns mixed with snow flurries in the Puget Sound through Sunday, Feb. 14. This frigid weather and potential of snow is dangerous for those without shelter. Therefore, Thurston County has declared a four-night Hazardous Weather Event, tomorrow through Sunday.

OLYMPIA – 2021 Property Tax notices will go out in the mail to Thurston County taxpayers on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Property tax amounts can now be viewed and paid through the Thurston County Treasurer’s web site at www.thurstoncountywa.gov/treasurer.

OLYMPIA – Thurston County Public Health and Social Services (PHSS) is partnering with Providence Health & Services Southwest Washington (Providence) to host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for eligible county residents with a previously scheduled appointment at the Regional Athletic Complex (RAC) in Lacey on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021. This clinic was reported in the media last week as a mass vaccination site and event.
