The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office Records and Public Disclosure Section is staffed by six Legal Assistants.
The Records Section responds to inquiries from the public and researches crime and suspect information for law enforcement agencies.
The Records Section assures compliance with Washington State laws and Sheriff’s Office policies for collection, maintenance and storage of law enforcement information that includes written reports, case files, photographs, computer data and copies of official documents relative to law enforcement.
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office Public Disclosure Section is committed to responding to your request for records in a timely manner. Per RCW 42.56 we have up to five business days to respond to all requests. All information is subject to public disclosure laws.
