Meet Jeff Gadman
Jeff Gadman has served as Thurston County Treasurer since early 2017 and has been reelected three times since.
Jeff has dedicated his professional life to public service and considers it a noble calling, dedicating over 38 years to the citizens of Thurston County.
As the cash and investment manager for Thurston County, he realizes it is imperative for you to have confidence that the Treasurer’s Office is safeguarding the money you have strived so hard for and that you ultimately have to pay to support the essential services you enjoy and expect on a daily basis.
Jeff is committed to ensuring that he and his staff will serve all taxpayers in Thurston County with dignity, respect, and unbridled professionalism.
Professionally, Jeff has been serving on the Washington State Association of County Treasurers Board of Directors since 2018 and currently serves as President. In addition, he has been serving on the Washington Association of County Officials Board of Trustees since 2019.
In his personal life, Jeff has served as a board member of Leadership Thurston County since 2016 and is Chair of the Lacey Planning Commission.
In addition, Jeff served as a Lacey City Councilmember from February 2011 to March 2017. During that time, he was Lacey’s representative to the following intergovernmental committees: Intercity Transit (Chair), Joint Animal Services (Chair), Law and Justice (Vice Chair), LOTT (Alternate), Human Services Review Council, and the Health and Human Services Committee.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and cooking with his wife Meren; he also enjoys playing golf and time on his motorcycle.
