​OLYMPIA – Thurston County Public Health and Social Services (PHSS) has more than 800 doses of Pfizer vaccine that are set to expire in the next week. PHSS is hosting three clinics this week for any member of the public age 16 and older needing a first or second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Appointments are optional and not required to receive a vaccine.

OLYMPIA – Thurston County ranks 8th healthiest among Washington State's thirty-nine counties, according to County Health Rankings data released last week. The county moved up from a rank of 9th from 2020.

OLYMPIA – Property owners, property management companies, and Homeowner's Association (HOA) members who maintain neighborhood stormwater ponds and other related systems are invited to attend a free online workshop, beginning Monday, April 12. Attendees will receive information on stormwater facility requirements, inspections and maintenance 'how-to's,' budget planning and guidance, takeaway resources and information sheets, and technical assistance.

The Thurston County Auditor's Office is reaching out to hundreds of landowners whose properties contain antiquated unlawful racially restrictive covenants.

OLYMPIA – The Thurston County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 13, at 3 p.m. to receive public comment on adding a Thurston County Medic One property tax levy to the ballot for the August 3, 2021 election.
