April is Work Zone Safety Month in Thurston County. To raise awareness, participating law enforcement agencies in the Target Zero Task Force will conduct extra patrols throughout the month. The goal is to reduce distractions and other traffic violations in work zones, emphasizing the importance of safety for both workers and drivers.

The Thurston County Building and Development Center (BDC) will close from 11:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023. The BDC will return to regular hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Friday, April 14, 2023.
