The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division mailed more than 20,000 ballots to voters in the county for the April 23 Special Election. Only registered voters residing in the Yelm Community Schools district will receive ballots.

Notice of the April 23, 2024 Special Election

Mary Hall, Thurston County Auditor, issued the following statement after Governor Jay Inslee signed House Bill 1241 to protect election workers.

The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division mailed over 1,400 Special Election ballots to military and overseas voters registered in Yelm Community Schools district in Thurston County.

The Thurston County Canvassing Board has certified the March 12, 2024 Presidential Primary Election.

The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division will conduct Logic & Accuracy tests ahead of the April 23, 2024 Special Election. These tests demonstrate the accuracy of the accessible voting units and tabulation equipment
