How to Quash a Warrant
Superior Court Warrant Quash
If you have a warrant in Thurston County Superior Court for an adult felony matter, please contact your attorney immediately. If your attorney is a public defender, please contact them to assist you. If you are no longer represented by an attorney and need additional information on how to quash a warrant you can email tcpd_felony_warrants@co.thurston.wa.us.
We may or may not be able to assist you with your request.
You can also appear in person at the Thurston County Superior Court Clerks Office to file a notice of hearing and file a motion to quash your warrant.
Thurston County Superior Court holds warrant quash hearings on Tuesdays at 11:30 am in Building 2. Currently the court will only hear two cases a week.
Be prepared to possibly be taken into custody at this hearing.
Depending on what new conditions of release may be set in your case, you may be taken into custody or asked to check in at the Thurston County Correctional Facility for fingerprinting. The defense attorney present for your warrant quash hearing will talk to you about this.
District Court Warrant Quash
If you have a warrant in Thurston County District Court, contact District Court at (360) 786-5450 or by email to TCDC@co.thurston.wa.us and let them know you have a warrant you would like to quash.
In order to locate your warrant, they will need your full name, date of birth, and contact information that they can reach you at. If you know the case number related to your warrant, please also provide the case number.
Thurston County District Court holds warrant quash hearings from Tuesday through Thursday at 2:30 pm in Building 3.
Please be prepared to possibly be taken into custody at this hearing.
