Ballots Mailed to Military and Overseas Voters for the August 1 Primary
The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division mailed over 8,500 Primary Election ballots to military and overseas voters registered in the Thurston County. Ballot envelopes must be signed and dated by Election Day or received via email or fax by 8 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Election Night, August 1, 2023.

Thurston County Auditor’s Office Won’t Knock On Your Door
The Thurston County Auditor’s Office is aware of a new effort of door-to-door canvassing by a voter research project. These canvasses are not associated with the Thurston County Auditor’s Office. Reports indicate the canvassers are wearing name tags that say: "Voter Verification Project - Election Volunteer.” The Thurston County Auditor’s Office Elections division does not go door-to-door to gather voter information.

Auditor’s Office Announces Logic & Accuracy Test ahead of the August 1 Primary Election; Seeks Observers
The Thurston County Auditor’s Office will conduct a Logic & Accuracy test ahead of the August 1, 2023, Primary Election. This test demonstrates the accuracy of the tabulation equipment. The Auditor’s Elections Office is looking for volunteers to serve as observers for the Logic & Accuracy test.
