OLYMPIA – Thurston County Public Health and Social Services is reporting a toxic algae bloom at Deep Lake. The state advisory level for Anatoxin, a neurotoxin, is 1.0 ug/L and the lab results show toxin levels of Anatoxin at the sample site at Deep Lake is 1.4 ug/L.

​OLYMPIA – The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing to receive public testimony on proposed updates to the Tumwater Joint Plan on Tuesday, September 28, at 3:00 p.m. in Building 1, Room 280 of the Thurston County Courthouse Complex, 2000 Lakeridge Drive SW in Olympia. A video conference option will be available in addition to in-person attendance.
